About this creation
"gps-art yenikent" is a GPS art route drawn in Sincan, Turquie that takes the shape of a elephant. This part of Turquie has the kind of grid that keeps the shape recognisable once it's recorded on a watch.
The route covers 11.4 km, roughly 1h08 at an easy running pace, which makes it a longer run. Every turn follows real roads from OpenStreetMap: Draw My Loop's snapping algorithm keeps the outline on the actual street network.
Grab the GPX file, push it to a watch via Strava or Garmin Connect, and head out. Once the activity is recorded, the drawing shows up on the map automatically. This route was put together by Ecrin Karan in the Draw My Loop Studio. You can fork it from the map and tweak it for your own neighbourhood before exporting.
