About this creation
"Perreando por Figueres" is a GPS art route drawn in Figueres, Spain that takes the shape of an animal. This part of Spain has the kind of grid that keeps the shape recognisable once it's recorded on a watch.
The route covers 13.5 km, roughly 1h21 at an easy running pace, which makes it a longer run. Every turn follows real roads from OpenStreetMap: Draw My Loop's snapping algorithm keeps the outline on the actual street network.
Grab the GPX file, push it to a watch via Strava or Garmin Connect, and head out. Once the activity is recorded, the drawing shows up on the map automatically. You can also fork this route from the map and adapt it to your own neighbourhood before exporting.
