About this creation
"Shape of Iraq - Baghdad" is a GPS art route mapped in Baghdad, Iraq that reproduces the country's shape on the capital's streets. The local road network gives the router enough flexibility to keep the drawing readable on the activity map.
The route covers 27.1 km, roughly 2h43 at an easy running pace, which makes it a longer run. Every turn follows real roads from OpenStreetMap: Draw My Loop's snapping algorithm keeps the outline on the actual street network.
Grab the GPX file, push it to a watch via Strava or Garmin Connect, and head out. Once the activity is recorded, the drawing shows up on the map automatically. You can also fork this route from the map and adapt it to your own neighbourhood before exporting.
