About this creation
"Tour_de_France autour de Lille" is a GPS art route drawn in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France that takes the shape of a france map. The local road network gives the router enough flexibility to keep the drawing readable on the activity map.
The route covers 105.2 km, roughly 5h16 at an easy cycling pace, which makes it a half-day ride. Every turn follows real roads from OpenStreetMap: Draw My Loop's snapping algorithm keeps the outline on the actual street network.
Grab the GPX file, push it to a watch via Strava or Garmin Connect, and head out. Once the activity is recorded, the drawing shows up on the map automatically. This route was put together by voizine in the Draw My Loop Studio. You can fork it from the map and tweak it for your own neighbourhood before exporting.
