About this creation
"RACE AROUND GERMANY 🤪" is a GPS art route drawn in Nottertal-Heilinger Höhen, Germany that takes the shape of a drawing. The neighbourhood suits this kind of shape: the street layout gives the routing algorithm enough room to honour the outline without cutting corners.
The route covers 3104.0 km, roughly 155h12 at an easy cycling pace, which makes it a half-day ride. Every turn follows real roads from OpenStreetMap: Draw My Loop's snapping algorithm keeps the outline on the actual street network.
Grab the GPX file, push it to a watch via Strava or Garmin Connect, and head out. Once the activity is recorded, the drawing shows up on the map automatically. You can also fork this route from the map and adapt it to your own neighbourhood before exporting.
